Commission a work
I take a small number of commissions each year — most often interiors, houses, and landscapes that matter to someone. The process is unhurried and collaborative, and I only take on work I think I can do well.

You write
Tell me about the subject, roughly what size you have in mind, and when you would like it. Photographs help enormously.

We agree the brief
I reply within a week with whether I am the right fit, a price, and a realistic timeline. Half is due to begin, half on completion.

I paint
You will see progress at the sketch stage and once more before the work is finished. Framing and shipping are arranged at the end.
